Release of FlyCapture 1.8.1.3
The latest release of FlyCapture has just been released, including many improvements over the 1.8.0.1 release.
While 1.8.0.1 introduced support for DirectShow applications, there were some third party applications with which the DirectShow driver did not work properly. Release 1.8.1.3 includes a large improvement in the support of DirectShow applications, including support for Windows Movie Maker, Skype, Debut, Metaguide, and Maxim/DL.
The new 1.8.1.3 release also has many other features and improvements such as:
- Statically linked IPP library, so no more ipp dll's are required during installation.
- Signed USB driver, allowing installation of the driver onto Windows Vista.
- New DirectShow and ActiveX examples installed with the FlyCapture SDK.
